How to choose a summer camp for your child ?
Thursday, May 4th, 2006Summer is arriving, and maybe are you still thinking about sending your child to France in a summer camp! Here are a few facts to help you through it!1. You have to make sure about quality of the organization which is going to send your child to France.
The first thing is to look for some brochures…but it is not enough. What about security, price range, lodging, activities, etc?
If the organization has been there for a while, it’s a good point. But you have to question them…they should be totally clear about their activities.
Here is a list of points to check before going further:
- Who are the welcoming families? How are they picked up ?
- Check your teenager can change family in case of conflict
- Check the lodging (own bedroom)
- Which are the qualifications of the adults going with the children?
- Are they going to be there from the beginning to the end?
- Where are the teaching facilities? Next to the families’ area?
- How many kids are taught at the same time?In a coming blog, eLycee will give you some names of organizations 2. Compare the prices
