Course description

This course was developed to successfully prepare students for the AP® French Language test. Drawing on the richness of the eLycée’s technological environment, students are invited to watch, listen and read, answer multiple choice questions, complete blanks in a text, compare images and write and tell stories. This is an intense course which results in a high level of fluency and skill.

Our technological environment is engaging and enables to students to learn and evolve in new ways, boosting their language skills and their comfort level with French. The content for each class is drawn from a variety of media: TV broadcasts, songs in audio and video formats, interviews, virtual tours, amd much more. In 2007, these classes proved as effective as they were attractive: eLycée has a 100% success rate with AP® French Language.

Each class requires them to work individually, in pairs or in groups to produce verbal and written pieces. Each piece is assessed and reviewed in real time, enabling students to evaluate their progress and move forward quickly. During the year, they will take two test exams which give them a clear assessment of how close they are to meeting their objectives and what they need to do to prepare for the actual test.
